Depuration with biological treatments is a process whose main players are different microbial populations in cooperation, able to degrade the pollutants present in the wastewater.
In wastewater treatment plants the main difficulties encountered are related to hydraulic stiffness and dimensioning (capacity and volumes of treatment), differences in the quality of the waste water, periods of overload and formation of unpleasant odours, especially during the summer season. All these factors, if out of control, result in the risk of complaints and penalties for non-compliance with applicable regulations.

MasterWWT line consists of powder biological activators containing a mix of microorganisms and nutrients selected for the biological degradation of specific pollutants in wastewater depuration plants: hydrocarbons, oils and fats, amines, ammonia, surfactants, cellulose and hemicellulose, sulphides and many others.
Nutrients and Prebiotics
Nutrients and prebiotics are mixtures enriched with natural organic compounds and trace elements that stimulate the acclimatization and awakening phase of microorganisms added to the effluent and promote their rapid multiplication.
Prebiotics, an immediately available energy source, stimulate the production of bio-products and enzymes, important metabolites to rapidly degrade organic substances, thus increasing plant performance. The saponins that characterize some natural extracts have a contrasting effect on the formation of bad odors
