They are capable of increasing the efficiency and speed of decontamination thanks to their action on the key-points of the purification process - the biological reaction rate, the biomass concentration in the system, the permanence time of the bacterial colonies in the tank ('sludge age').

BBA has carefully selected each bacterial and fungal strain introduced into the mixtures, so that once applied they interact in complete synergy with each other and are compatible with the biomass already present in the wastewater. The objective of decomposing organic pollutants and transforming them into metabolites that are harmless to the environment and humans, breaking down malodorous molecules, reducing the ammonia nitrogen and sulphur load, and removing excess biomass, is of paramount importance in restoring the smooth operation of the plant, without having to resort to the use of chemicals.

MasterWWT and MasterIndustry: BBA's biological activators

MasterWWT and MasterIndustry innovative mixtures containing different microbial mixtures which, thanks to their highly selective substrate-specific metabolic enzymes, demolish pollutant molecules, thus favouring the start-up of new plants and increasing the purification capacity and efficiency of those already in use.

The micro-organisms are bio-fixed on plant substrates enriched with ready-to-use nutrients, which are also completely natural, biodegradable and non-hazardous, promoting the activation and reproduction of the micro-organisms themselves.

BBA ECOTECH bio-activators are safe and have zero impact on the environment because they contain non-pathogenic, non-GMO micro-organisms, all belonging to Biohazard Class Level 1, and formulated in accordance with current chemical and biological safety regulations.
